Hi,
I am new to this group. I am in the process of purchasing a Porsche 550 kit, my dream car. I would like to know if there is anyone else out there with one. Years ago I built the Porsche 718 Spyder, it was a great car too. But the 550 is my dream. I cannot wait.

Re: PORSCHE 550
The 550 is one of the best looking kits out there in my humble opinion. Keep us posted.

Hi Rodger,
I am also busy getting ready to purchase a 550 spyder kit. Please keep us posted.
How far have you planned, what type of engine will you be running?

Re: PORSCHE 550
Took these pics at Porsche Center Jhb last year, initially I thought it was the real thing - but it is a replica. Just to show you how it CAN be done!

Re: PORSCHE 550
Excuse my ignorance, but is the car a mobile coffin? l mean, if it were to roll, just once, would the driver strike the ground with the head, or do these things get fitted with roll-bars?

Re: PORSCHE 550
Alas, i'll have to wait a bit longer for this to become a reality!! This will be my next project if money will allow!!
Rodger, if you dont mind, could you PM me details of the cost etc. If it's from Replicars, i only have the old price list.
