But wait...that's not all!!!

If you buy this 1969 Early Bay Sunroof delux bus with delux trim for R20 000, not only will you receive a complete Westfalia poptop roof,......you will also receive this Westfalia body with spares, Westfalia poptop roof and Westfalia windows absolutely free.

Buy now to avoid disappointment. Only one left!

So after I had no takers, I decided to keep and restore this baby. The birth of my 1969 Delux Westy :hangloose:
The before pics are available above so I'll take it from there. The Westy roof on the top bus(Delux) now belongs to Beetlefanatic

Started stripping BZN(Bay Zonder Naam  ) preparing for new lick of paint.

I have seen the bus since it came back from spraypainting and it's looking absolutely beautifull. A top notch job. Well done Eugene, it's going to be one nice bus. :hangloose:

Thanks for pissing on my parade guys
I wanted to tell the story :(

So here it is all done
Image

   Just joking...wish it was done :)

Well...off to the paintshop we go.
The car had very little rust. Apart from the usual suspects, underneath the widscreen, on the sunroof and some surface rust, the body was nice and solid.

Image

Image

Had a big dent right rear corner and one left rear underneath. These were all sorted in no time.

Oh, the rust on the sill in front of the rear wheel was also cut out and fresh metal welded in :hangloose:

Stay tuned for the next episode :puterwork:
