New Privateer Porsche V8 Engine wins Daytona 24

This is a new team for 2010 and the engine is a privately developed V8 from the Porsche Cayenne for racing use. Porsche factory Brumos racing uses a flat 6. The winning drivers were Terry Borscheller, Mike Rockenfeller, Ryan daziel and Joao Barbosa. This car beat Scott Pruett and Max Papis with Justin Wilson and Memo Rojas in the 01 TelMex Ganassi BMW powered car. The GT Class was won by a Mazda RX8 Over a Porsche 911 and the 2010 Camaro made it's GT Class debut. The Camaro finished 11th overall and 4th in GT class.
