Beetle LED Rear lights

Post by beetlefanatic »

While browsing through the April issue of Volksworld, I stumbled across these LED rear lights for Bugs.

Visited the CSP website and like all CSP products, they are not cheap. In fact they are !@@#$$% expensive.

Just out of curiousity, would they fit on our late bug mountings?

Calling Sarel! Here's something nice for your new project and it will help you get rid of that extra cash in the budget! :D

Better late than never! (Although the last time I used that one, the answer I got was "Better never late". My friend & I were late for a Barry Hilton show and got chirped by him. :D)

Anyway, Tony, I take it you were lucky enough to have visited the CSP shop in Germany? Do you think it's worth paying the +-R1400/light?

AFAIK they are only available for post 73 models. You planning to change your fenders?

Sarel - are those crossfire lights?

Nope, never had the chance. I have a few of their products tho.

Are the lights worth the money. Well, what look do you want? If you want something special, you have very few options. I have other ideas too, but they will get old very quickly. And yes, I am planning on changing the fenders sometime

Tony,

posting images of that piece of shit on here should have a mandatory cooling off period, so you can reflect on what you've done wrong!

I have the rear 3rd brake light LED and it works wonders, so reckon these might be a good thing
