I'm thinking of using a tie-rod end frt susp. on my '63 instead of the king and linkpin setup.
Anyone know if it is a direct swap, or not so easy?

Looking for a splitscreen panelvan - have a year or two to find one. If you know of one, please let me know.

If its a beetle and you refering to a Ball joint suspension, its not a straight swap.
The lower torsion bar housing is thicker and the two torsion bar housings are further vertically appart.
I have seen the uprights cut to bring the 2 housing to the same distance as the K&L suspension.

Any modifications need to be made to the body / pan if I swap pans?
