Hi all, I'm over from the UK until Friday this week and want to take bumpers back for my Bug, it's a 1969 1300 with the Europa style chrome bumpers (no indicator slots)
Can anyone tell me where in Johannesburg I can buy both front and rear?
Any help appreciated, as am running out of time to get it sorted!
Chrome bumpers in Jo'burg?

Re: Chrome bumpers in Jo'burg?

Now i am a bit confused?
For a start, i would think that the 1968- 1974 style chromed beetle bumpers are the most commonly available, and should be a lot cheaper in Brittain than here, and available in abundance cheaply at various VW spares places in Brittain?
There is Volkspares in Jet Park near the Oliver Tambo Airport that will have some.
Staying Aircooled is so much nicer.

I reckon the shipping costs would be crazy to buy them from here unless of course you intend loading these on the plane but then you will also pay heavy....
