My 68 Beetle

This is my 1968 Beetle. I want to do some work on it this December
the floor pan has some rust that i must sort out
king and link pins and brakes and some small stuff

I like your car! There's something really special about a '68... 'Twas the first model to introduce the upright headlamps and tombstone rear lights - amongst other things.

I had one too of course so that makes me bias :lol:

Yes I love it as well I've got the original purchase order of the 1'st owner and was bought on the beginning of the year in Johannesburg and has lived here ever since

Cool! That's some nice historical literature to hang on to.
I didn't have that with my '68 although I bought mine from a friend's mother which was good enough for me. She'd had it for years and carted their three boys everywhere in it. She refused to drive anything else and trust me they could afford to as her husband had a '68 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud as well as a Jag XK120 amongst many other cars. I was very privileged to have been given the option to buy it (she wouldn't even let her son have it) as she knew what they mean to me. Sadly it wasn't a very happy car when it came into my possession - I pushed it more than I drove it! I ended up having to sell in the end. It still pains me...

Anyway, back to YOURS...! It's awesome! 1500 I presume?

I just love that green and white it is such a great color choice well DONE!!! how much out of interest should a paint job like that cost?

Yes it is a 1500 the motor has been done and I have the invoice forgot who did the motor

The paint don't know i will be getting prices next year and i will be painting it myself
I like the color to it's clean and fresh

The interior has some small holes i don't know if I must get them repaired or if I must leave it for some caricature :?:
