Hi all,
I'm new to the forum. Stumbled accross it when I searched for beetle body parts. I started the restoration of a 1965 beetle that has been in the family since 1965. The aim is to keep her original and I want her to last another 45 years after this rebuild. There is a bit of rust that I must deal with on the right side door pillar, both sills needs a bit of work and the plate running down from the rear window towards the luggage bin is rusted badly, otherwise she is in good condition. See pics below:
I will be documenting the full rebuild. I will post a link as soon as it's ready.
For now I need some assistance. Anybody know where I can find a body, or pieces of a body from where I can salvage door pillars and the angled plate below the rear windscreen? I'm situated in Cape Town
Thanks

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.
