1 Owner 58 Bug

Post by Donovan D »

After visiting the Dave Rowley day today we stopped at someone my dad used to work with,
He is the original buyer of this bug., he is an old guy and left it to someone in his will that loves beetles!! Everything works and the care is taken care of very well. Not even aloud to touch the car on the paint just handles, the old guy said your oils from your hands will pull into the paint, so dont touch it

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

He knows, he was very proud telling some stories, including waiting months for it on the waiting list

From what I can tell, they look like 40mm Motometer gauges.... most likely Amperemeter and Fuel Guage

If they are, they were distributed by Hella in Europe, and were sold parralel to the Dehne fuel gauge.

Below is one I have at home...

Have you tried Jurgen if no one else has one for sale? He owns a 58 too and I would guess has a stash of spares for the year!
