1600 SP Engine **SOLD**

Post by dsan »

Ok since the new replacement is ready for the '59, only 10 months late, time has come to sell this one.

Standard 1600 SP, with new carb (brasilian but sorted so that this one actually works) and uprated oil cooler and tinware to handle Durbans rather warm climate. Engine runs nice and cool as expected. Always serviced every 1000 miles, I've personally covered 10 000 miles with this since it was fitted.

Anyway that's all the bollocks everyone usually says, so how about some videos to back them up daniel?

1: It running up a hill to show no oil pressure warning light:

2: Me starting it up and then casually running around the back to show you that there is no smoke popping out her pipes:

Bad points (I believe in full-disclosure unlike many others who sell shit)

1: could do with new pipes. These were WolfsBergWest ones new 5 months ago and are already rusted. Cheap f#Ck but not cheap in price
2: slight oil leak. two very small drops, it could be down to the filter cap as I've not sealed it like many see to do

Asking R3000
Needs to be collected from Scottborough as I no longer have any cars/trucks/house to store them.

**update**
my god, that has to be the quickest sale ever. Sold gentlemen, thanks
