My 1968 Bug

I baught myself a 1968 beetle about a month ago. I started to strip the car to restore it. I am still figuring out how to upload picture. I will post pictures a little bit later.

That looks like a nice project!
Just a word of advice: don't worry about fancy shiny bits, additional gauges, bucket seats and wide wheels at this stage. Get it mechanically 100% and roadworthy first, then take if further from there...

Thnx. I already started the engine, it sounds fine. It is stil on the road. I baught the car from a friend and he started to strip the car. I baught the hole car for 3000 rand and prt of the deal was, that they pay the lisence up to next jear. I hope I am Finished by then. I am posting pics a little bit later.

Thanx, does anyone know where I can buy rear light tail lenses. The place where I buy my parts dont have stock. And a few more questions. Is rubbers and beadings always that expensive, becuase I paid like 4500 rand for all the rubbers and beadings on the car. The beading trim around the window in the door was like 400 rand for one of them.

I got my tail light lenses from calooker but it takes a long time and he is still recovering from his bike accident. It is going to look really good when your done
