Volkswagen dealer bought tent. The previous owner bought it from Kulu Volkswagen in CT about 30 + years ago. The tent is complete, with all poles and pegs and guy ropes. The unique part is that it attaches to your bus gutter via the nylon plastic extruded lip attached to the tents rear door flap.
The tent is in very good condition with the canvas completely intact, with no rot at all. Tent comes complete in 1 strong canvas bag.
Please excuse the poor scan of the tent, as it does not do the tent any justice. Fig confirmed that it is a Volkswagen dealer option that was available at the time. I confirmed this as per Figs advice and found it in my 1977 VW transporter Owners Manual. The lady in the short mini looks almost as good as the tent and the bus in the background.
I have attached the scan of my tent, as well as a picture of Fig's tent, completely set up, taught, and completely pegged. Clearly it is a very sturdy and useable tent.
Also comes with a large breathable ground sheet.
