explain to me like Im a five yr old. What is a SUPER Beetle? Hope Superman isnt driving in it :) ha ha sorry couldnt resist seriously I would like to know

one word...wikipedia...dont qoute me on this...it looks like the s beetle we get here with round windscreen and i think overseas they used other suspensions than the normal torsion bars...correct me if im wrong please...

Our S beetle is very much a hybrid, no where else in the world is there another the same.

One of the time's VWSA used the Super beetle term in their marketing, was for the 1967 model year. The 1500 beetles came with disk brakes at the front and four stud wheel rims. They used the term to tell the people that it was something special.
