Project Sweet Pea -Lowlight

Post by Warwick-Lowlight »

Here we go
Waking up again far to early this morning - so instead of lazing in bed till the family gets there butts up - work on the bus
I have had many of these over the last year but I have eventually come to my senses - Start at the beginning !
The early up was also possibly because of engine hopefully arriving next week - need to get back on the road :D
The beginning will be some interior work
Sweet Pea came with a camper style bed in back - not so safe for the little ones - great fun but not safe
So bed out
Kept some of the chipboard and fashioned a table/ hold all
Started by measuring the boxes needed by the wife for the camping missions and the fridge
Make the box put some doors on and attatch to the beading supplied by the previous owner
Previous owner must have had some wood working skill as all was nice and level and straight
There we go something the wife needs and more importantly - cold beer for the next project
Don't worry wont be having to many at 4.30 am

Next will be the mock up of the middle bench to the back and some carpet down
Bench will have belly belts for the kids
Big one definately but the little ones car seat should strap down

Off for coffee
Keep you posted

Waiting for the new arrival
got to do some serious work on the engine bay as previous owner had it hacked to pieces to make space for the 2ltr engine
bits from the red bus -body tin engine mounts and valance brackets
Rear valance from Andrino that will need some work as it has been cut
nothing that a mig a hammer and some paint cant sort out
