Now thats great :hangloose: . Nice breakfast to wake up to in the morning. I don't suppose they did it in a beetle. Shape no doubt make it difficult.

and I've been told that the lid/cover is an actual part from a bus dashboard

I don't think it's an actual poart, but it's styled on the radio blank plate.

Yes of course, I didn't mean that the toaster is supplied with original 50+ year-old bus parts, but thanks for the explanation.
