Re: My Beetle
That looks good... just a pity nobody warned you about moulding the entire car together....

Re: My Beetle
Looks nice. Not usually my kind of modification style, but if it runs as good as it looks, then sweet dude!! Enjoy!!!!

Nice, then it was done well. Seem some shocker mould jobs before.
Dont wanna sound like a spoil sport or anything, but what does it look like without the eye-lids?

Re: My Beetle
@ADZ and Doc...
Point I was trying to make is that if someone knocks your fenders it can crack past the place where the normal fender welts were to sit. Now you need to work on the entire area instead of just the fender. Also, the original fenders were bolted on and were cushioned by the fender welts... this also catered for body flex at speed, acceleration and cornering etc... this can also cause the same to crack. Now you remix new paint, and then respray the repaired section, the paint does not really match, you then decide to over-lap the paint a little more... but where do you stop?
Also this car has no bumpers which in effect could have saved it from small fender benders and expensive repaints...
Bumper - less Cal Lookers still had those Empi nerf bars...

Re: My Beetle
thats true thing is i had bought the car molded so i had no idea of the consequences of having a molded bug but you do make a point if it get bumped ( i hope not) i will have to respray and most probably put in the rubbers between the fenders but for now i just have drive safe and not bump it

Re: My Beetle
Im almost sure you wont bump it... just watch out for your daughter, the lady driving behind you, the taxi taking a gap, the supermarker trolley, and the other car's door in the parking lot....
Sorry dude... could not resist.

Love it but you forgot the door handles so Muds no worries about bumping her!
