New Body Panels

Post by driftmeister »

hi guys

Im new to the air-cooled scene and would like to make a change when it comes to getting the body parts we need locally
therefore i need everyone's input on what is available with prices and what users would like to be freely available

please don't hold back and also include any accessories you would like to see selling cheaper here in South Africa
i will do my best to get and offer it to users as cheaply as possible

thanks

Split screen body panals, all of them for all models.(Crew cab, panal, kombi, delux)
Split screen floors, foot well and load bay for all models.

I think the best panals to start with would be the nose, front valance, engine lid and passenger foot well replacement panals for pre 67 busses.
Then spot lights and roof racks and reverse lights,CHEEPER safety stars and the like. And maybe those new radios that look old school and fit into the existing slot.

King and link pin replacement parts as well as commonly peplaced steering components.(drag links and the like)

Maybe set up shop with Calooker, join forces and start an ACVWSA spares shop, like Volkspares but more up to date with our community here on the forum. By that I mean its easier to log on and discuss what we are looking for and get it mailed to us then to find the time to go to Volkspares when ever we need something.

Mr Sambabus this sounds like a plan, i want to ensure that we get our parts for as best priced as possible i think all vw aircooled parts are over priced and its time we start a revolution :hangloose: .... as it has been said competition is good :)
