KLASSIC FAB SOUTH AFRICA : New Products released !!

Post by splitbusahollic »

Hi Guys
i have been in discussions with Gerson for some time now and have decided to secure the agency for KLASSIC FAB SOUTH AFRICA (exclusively). :hangloose:
this is how i intend it to work....
there will be a KlassicFab SA website..with pic's and prices, and obviously a link from this site.
stock (at this stage) will be stored in PE and shipped from here once payment has been received.
it looks like the pricing will be competitive with worldwide prices...bar the shipping costs, duties and vat.
in order to make this a success i would need some input from you Guys..for the initial order it would be great if you tell me what panels you need.
i will post a link here for you to go and look at some of the panels on other sites..just to get an idea of what they manufacture.
Gerson's website is under construction so these links will be from other suppliers of the green panels...they do everything from pressed bumpers to sunroof cutouts.
there are a lot of panels are available for single and double cab buses.
the quality of his stuff is excellent and i could also get him to join this site to answer any technical questions when need be.
This is not a cheap exercise so all input would be appreciated !
if you have any suggestions, questions, proposals or ideas please feel free to give me a call.
here is a link to one site with pic's.

http://www.vwsplitparts.com/nlshop.php

i could easily only import panels for my own resto's as i have been  ... but i do think there is a need for hassle free supply of good quality panels to restore your bus to it's former glory. :hangloose:

let me know your thoughts on this.
thanks
Jacques

We are trying to keep things close to the birthplace of our vehicles...Uitenhage ! :hangloose:
if it works out alright then i may even look for distributors in Gauteng, and Capetown.....
lets first see if there is enough demand to sustain this. :)

Well done Jacques. I was looking at doing exactly the same thing with Gerson, but eventually decided I could get my money to work harder with less risk elsewhere. I wish you success with your venture. Pity, I just bought a complete set of split bus inner and outer rocker panels from Andreas Radel. I wasn't happy with them, as they're not exact copies, but Volkspares kept me waiting for months and I wasn't up to importing a small batch of Gerson panels. Oh, well ...
