Letters to Santa, what would you ask for?

Post by Pine »

Since we are (almost) in a Festive mood, what would you ask Santa for this year? Let's keep it realistic, doubt that the old man would be able to fit a Hebmuller or Samba in his sleigh  - 3 presents max per member.

On my list:

1. A Serpentine pulley kit for HW2

2. A set of new BF Goodrichs for the rear wheels of HW2

3. A few drums of petrol for the George Tour

A big order of funky green panels, cargo floor, cabin floor, front valance and a bikini clad model who knows how to operate a welder. :hangloose:

I'm actually happy with my bug parts wise. but can think of things for my others cars...

1. Rev 400 tvs supercharger kit (charge cooled)
2. Boe Clam hinge kit
3. Nitron 3 way shocks

But thats all getting a bit close to 100G's so I would settle for

1. Race engine mounts
2. upgraded rear toe link brace
3. Front splitter or even a big hand full of quarter turn fasteners
From fastest to slowest:

Birkin race car, not much is standard
Lotus Elise 111R, almost everything is standard
'75 SP 1600 with a few mods
B8 A4 Avant tdi, towing made easy

@Pine-the serpentine pully system doesnt work as well as one would think. I trusted machy told me that it provides too much traction on your genie or alternator, and doesnt allow the belt to slip at higher rpms, resulting in iether a max rpm of around 5000 or a fan that will grenade. Based on this,I would say that if you looking for performance, the regular set up is much better.

I second that :D
Just enough money to fix up my Bugs, R20 000 would do perfectly

I would like all humans to suddenly become sane, capable of LOGICAL reasoning and gifted with unprecedented intelligence.
Maybe then I'd be able to get a day off.

I mean, seriously... I just cleaned up this mess, can we keep it clean, even if it's just for Christmas!
