Yep, you read correctly! Klara went to her first 'Cruise' last night!
In spite of the torrential downpour that soaked Randburg, the intrepid few still braved the elements to congregate at Meadowbrook Estate, for what turned out to be a very pleasant evening. Klara was so keen to meet the 'peeps' that she chewed up her fan-belt on the way there. HUGE thanks to Fig for helping out with a temp replacement, so that she could get home without getting too hot under the ......collar! Also thanks to Klaus for organising the meet. It was an absolute pleasure meeting the guys and dolls.
I just have one small concern, that I mentioned to the missus: Why is it that most aircooled fans (excuse the pun) have a slightly mad look about them, in the vein of "What we doing tonight, Brain", "Same thing we do every night, Pinky....TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!". It was funny until I realised we both harboured similar expressions on our faces!
By the way, Splitfan, very fine-looking bus.
