Thanks, thats nice...Going to be talking to you then...i was pleasantly surprised at how little rust is on the inside and floors. The outside has some surface rust and only found one spot that has a tiny hole on the passenger floor.
Bus is from the Free State so expected not too much rust.....
It does'nt look too bad at all - and the rear bumper is there Bonus !!!!!
thanks.. yip front and rear, only thing with rear bumper is they cut small holes to accommodate for the beetle exhaust that was fitted somewhere along the line...I will get those holes welded closed...
Congrats!
Feel a little seeing your bus!
Going to be following the build for when I find one someday!
The more I see the split busses the more I need one!
The two secrets to success: 1) Don't tell everyone everything that you know

Thanks Retro....I suppose there are few split buses around but thing is finding ones with minimal rust not so easy anymore. I will post pics of the build. We managed to get a full IRS suspension incl disc brakes etc, plan to remove the current suspension and install the IRS and discs....will post pics of that build. Will probably need assistance from Bugger for the rear install....
