In the OLD days we called it a RAM TUBE, and all Hot Rods guys fitted the same thing to there carb's,

Before they realised that you do need a Air Cleaner to save the engine....... :lol: :lol:

It works on the theory that the intake is bigger, then the larger amount of air is compresses more, before entering the chamber.

So the volume of air is increased.
