Hi there
i bought a 1963 beetle thats the light baby in color, with papers and running 1200 enjin
will ad pics as soon as i get my broken phone back
beetle is pretty original still, except interioir that was redone recently years
im doing the whole interior over in anyway so have a few options for color of body and will adjust interioir to that color
tell me what you guys think i should do:
1)keep it just the plain original baby blue again(is it better value wise?)
2)do a two tone offwhite and baby blue
3)two tone offwhite and like a candy red
4)two tone black with the bottom part red
any input and ideas would be appreciated
this is my first complete restoration

Re: 1963 beetle project
Hi,
Think you must 1st ask your self, what you want to do with the car once its done......
If you just restoring for the fun of it, and to sell it off once done, then restore to original is a no brainier.
If you plan to keep and ride it, do it in the colour that YOU like, The guys that buys it much later, or when you restore it again later in life, can paint it back in original colour.
Go to Google, enter 'Beetle 1963 images", and look at all the colours, and go with the one you like, much better to see the paint on a car, as in ones head all look good, till you spent your bucks, and it looks
