1976 Beetle S - New project

Post by MrT »

Started my second VW project last week. Collected the S in driving rain and then took it to its new home (Randfontein panel shop) for the next two years or so. Hopefully project will not take that long, depending on Mr C Ash of course!

Nice !!!! got your work cut out for you now !

What you going to do with the roof mod ?
I assume it's for a high level stop light - looks like the mod was done reasonably well too

No flames yet, but ya going to take it back to the original roof. Fortunately it will be easy,

the difficult parts will be to insert the rear and front air vents and rebuild the fuel flap. It appears as though the PPO was set on smoothing the whole car!
