Dangerous Strikes in the Winelands

Post by rouxlouis »

To all my fellow aircooled friends residing in Paarl, Wellington, De Doorns, Wolseley and the greater Winelands, PLEASE BE SAFE OUT THERE!!! Rather leave your aircooled beauties locked-up and take the Hummer!
If the bug has bitten, you're in deep!

Our flower operation is now going on for the 5th day of srtike action
No joke trying to deal with a mob of politically motivated peoples that actually have no intention of negotiating !
Due course has been followed and dismissal letters with the right to appeal were issued yesterday
Luckely my side of the farm - apples and chickens have been working

Its amazing to think that in our new South Africa peoples believe that what the see on the TV will get them what they want
Ilegal stike for 5 days without sending any representation to come and negotiate !
Luckely there is a Labour Law

Maybe one day we will all excersise our right to vote correctly !

Hope all my fellow farming friends are safe

Think we should be like the French and all farming sectors go on a Produce Strike for a week
Maybe then everyone will wake up and relise where thier food comes from

True words.

The funny thing about reality is ... that it is not funny.

The County Fair Chicken workers were protesting yesterday and today on the R304, stones were thrown at passing traffic. For the most part, the SAPS are on top of it in Winelands district.
They should just tune into a local radio station whilst driving and perhaps just phone the venue before they leave to see if all is ok in the area.

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.
