So I have a 66 ghia in my garage and on Sunday I started to play, new ignition in , new voltage regulator as the little red light was on. Fired her up runs like dream but little red light still on grrrrrrrrr, time for alternator to come out , oh well fixing obvious isn't always the answer

Cleaned and painted wiper Arms and put new blades too, got quotes to refurb my sprint stars today felt like night 1 in pollsmoor prison !

is the little red light not the oil pressure warning light?

Good question it's the one on the left and battery runs flat Am I wrong could it be oil
Pressure and I am assuming it is charging system

red is oil green is charging unless someone has switched the wires

ok its the one on the Left hand side as you look at the guage - internet tells me it is not oil

switch the ignition on
it should come on
go to the engine
take the wire off the oil pressure sensor and hang it in the air
check the light again
if it is off, then it is the oil pressure light
double check by plugging back in and checking if light comes back on
