Adventure bike?

Post by ON-RNR »

I have introduced myself as a biker. And that I will be for ever.
Some thoughts go through my mind whilst on tour with my bike. How can I make this experience safer for my lovely wife that sits pretty relaxed at the back.
How can I address all her (my) concerns and complaints? Not that it outweighs the positive feed back but it exists.
Kit is a hustle, worm bulky and oh so not sexy. At the view site boots hold you back and you would rather not do the extra mile for the better picture!
Ok last of topic thing, packing space for the hair drier and edblow.
We also want to cover ground like only a bike can do.
So I came up with the idée of a beach buggy.
Wheel travel and ground clearance (concern for us adventure bikers) is not good enough. I need something more resilient to ruts speed bumps and un even terrain.
This is what I found.
Oh no I need to follow instuctions someware els on this forum to paste a pic?? Cant it just be easy?

Bought it in Four ways and towed it down to Durban. Needless to say effortless!!
Side shafts disconnected and only the wheels needed to stay in place.

This is where all what the previous owner told me will have to be tested??
According to him everything has been checked all It needs is a fuel management system. ECU? dictator or something.
Oraait this is not all!!
Needs
Starter motor
alternator
exhaust
stuff between the clutch peddle and the clutch
same with accelerator cabling to feed the required speed from your foot to the engine.
air filter something there is none
Fuel pump
Radiator to be fitted
Hope head, sub assembly injectors are good.
Over capitalize come to mind but we trust every person on his own merits so I am sure all is fine.
On inspection I did notice some parts missing and also heard a birdy tweet that there is quite a bit of license fees outstanding on the volla but decided to go ahead with the sale.
When it itch we need to scratch.
