As those that have been to my place and attended the Ferdi and Silverton VW swop meets, you saw I have a lot of ACVW piston ring sets.
I need to make space for other stock I am getting in and will like to offer all the ring sets on auction.
There are approximately 350 sets (10 big boxes) - all brand new - various brands. The bulk are for 1100/1200/1300/1500 and then there are some 1600, 1700, 1800,1900 and 2000 sets. The higher the capacity the fewer there are. Also probably 90% are oversize - no standard sets for the 1100/1200/1300/1600.
Normally sell a set for around R150.
How does a starting bid of R10 per set sound - thus R3500 for the lot ? Let it run till 24 Jan and see what transpires. If this works may do the same with the engine bearings. Ideal for someone in the ACVW business or opportunity to make some pocket money.

Excuse my tangential addition here, but I'm looking for standard-size bits and pieces for a 36 Hp (cast genny stand 1200), please, anyone...
