Hi all
first time posting
Im in search of a beetle1600 twinport engine running condition
my engine siezed [emoji17] piston through the block something got stuck in the visco fan

No need to apologize... it just makes it easier for us to help you. I am sure you dont want to buy an engine from CPT.
Depends on your budget... vdubtech build good engines, but they might be out of your price range. 2 failed engines and it would have been cheaper to spend more in the first place...
many "reconditioned" engines sell for 5k or less. I am one of the few who advocate the fact that a rebuild shouldnt cost less than 12K IF done properly. You simply cannot buy the spares needed for a proper rebuild for under 5K. Tha machining also costs close to 5k. So buying a rebuild for under 5K.... think about it.

Thanks for the advice and its is noted and taken into consideration... however im looking for a running engine to fit as i have someone interested in the beetle as long as its moving as much as im going to regret letting it go but i need the space and further reasons of letting it go.. hence i do not want to spend a bunch of cash on it and not get back what i put in it
