Buggy Chassis

Post by natbro »

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know what you guys think of what I am planning on doing with the chassis for my buggy:

1. Have it shortened and the pans replaced with flat sheet (2 or 3mm?) and 50x25 mm tubing as per beamish buggies.

2. Sand blast it and then have it galvinised and then maybe powder coated or rhino lined - want to keep rust away for as long as possible

Have any of you done anything like this and do you think it is worthwhile??

Any better ideas?
