Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Cool bus, nice spot Pine!
Image hosted on the Samba.
Jolas, it's the same green and white colouring as the barn find crossover deluxe. It has a nice roof rack and a dozen stickers, evenly spaced and horizontally aligned on the rear hatch. Tastefully done. The deluxe bumper rubber is missing on the rhs. Jail bars are present. Could be OG paint, looks very neat.
I love my deluxe early bay!

Thanks I see the pic now. I think it belongs to a chap in Muizenberg, will go through my pics now. Although his bus had a water cooled conversion. I have to agree, these early Delux busses are the tits manDrusky wrote:Cool bus, nice spot Pine!

I'm pretty sure this is the same bus I photographed in Sedgefield a few years ago, being driven by a young fellow and his parents from Kalk Bay.

I think you're right - his name is Christian. Can you remember if it was a water-cooler ?fig wrote:I'm pretty sure this is the same bus I photographed in Sedgefield a few years ago, being driven by a young fellow and his parents from Kalk Bay.

No, the bus I saw was 100% stock. I don't remember his name, so it probably wasn't Christian.jolas wrote:I think you're right - his name is Christian.
