howsit guys im doing a 71 bug project i have a 1600 twin port motor,
i want to do a turbo conversion in a way it sits as follows
side draft on left that feeds into the turbo from turbo down into pistons and then from turbo exhaust. the 4 exhaust lead to the turbo bottom. are there any kits such as for sale, as the disturber cap must be a better stronger one and its a first of this type of project

Re: vw 71 bug project
anything is possible. In SA, you might be hard pressed to find the correct parts and pre-fabricated exhaust.
Look at http://lowbugget.com/ for some ideas
Otherwise, build a nice 1600 without a turbo - you'd be surprised how well these little engines can do if built properly
