Mechanic or aircooled family member in Upington or Springbok?

Hi guys

Our kombi probably has a leaky oil cooler. We are @ Augrabies Falls Nat. Park in Northern Cape. Cities nearby are Upington or Springbok. Does anyone know a mechanic in that area. Or a Air cooled family member where I can pull the engine?

You;ll probably have to drive to the towns and look for someone who can help. Upington is friendly and people are willing to help - we broke down in an Audi on a Sunday and the local agents actually came to find us and opened up for us.
Unfortunately I cant remember the group having had a member from Spingbok or Upington.

I phoned the VW agent in Upington. Spoke to a guy that said their head mechanic is an older guy that knows aircooled motors. They are only back
at work on Monday.
They list some cell numbers on their website so if you in a hurry try to arrange something with them.

I think your best bet is Jaco's suggestion with the VW agent in Upington Nathaniel. I also can't find any contacts that side. Also no friends there. Keep us updated.

After calling VW Upington we'll see 'JBK Herstel' on Monday. Mechanic with air cooled experience and driving a kombi.
