Fibreglass floor pans

Post by Blitzkrieg »

Install or repair your floors for the last time, with these super strong fiberglass floorpans. Built as exact replicas of the original ones, they simply bolt into place after removing your rusted metal. Battery acid will not harm fiberglass. Hardware package available. Includes instructions.

Floorpans
$109.99 / ea

Hardware Kit
$19.99 /ea

HARDWARE PACKAGE
for installing your floors. Includes self-tapping sheet-metal screws with washers (enough for both floors), and 50 year black silicone sealant for years of water tight, weatherproof wear.

The above from http://www.Glass-Action.com ,a US company that makes Fibreglass stuff for all aircooled Vws

Does anyone have any experience with complete fibre glass floor pans?
If it's too low, you're too old

Ever seen what happens to fiberglass when it suffers high impact? If ti were me, I would stay away from something like that. Plus, the metal floorpans gives rigidity to the cars chassis, which I doubt fiberglass can provide....
