Does anyone have any experience with complete fibre glass floor pans?

Ever seen what happens to fiberglass when it suffers high impact? If ti were me, I would stay away from something like that. Plus, the metal floorpans gives rigidity to the cars chassis, which I doubt fiberglass can provide....
