Vertex Magneto

Hi all

I have a used Vertex Magneto distributor as per pictures that i have been storing since my Beetle days (My first car and project) 20+ years ago.
Lock-down boredom forced me to unpack my old stuff.

Never used it .The cap is broken, but it produces a nice spark when i spin it by hand.
Do you guys still use it, and does it have any value as is?

Those magnetoes were mostly fitted to industrial engines, so not much of a market for them.

I don't know what they are worth.
