Engine bay tar board

What product can one get local to replace the tar board in the engine bay? It would need to be heat resistant and provide sound isolation.

Why dont you organise some thermal lagging like that used for industrial exhausts... then get a stainless firewall to cover it. Bling bling

Here you can get an idea how it looks it is used in aircon ducting has got the foam for sound dettening one side and the thermal film on the other

You can get it from Ernest from Classic VW where I normally get it
