HOW DO I FIT A STEERING BOX ?
Guys I have decided to fit a new steering box on my beetle.I previously posted for advice(UNSTABLE RIDE),and now have decided to gamble with my hard earned cash. Can someone tell me what to do/steps that I must follow in fitting the box safely.I can't outsource this task,as my budget is just too... tight.

Have you adjusted you r old box tighter before buying a new one
Where the spare wheel goes take it out there are sorta halfmoon plates with a star screw
facing the bug take the left one off there you will see a 17mm nut locking a flat screw hold the screw with a flat screw driver and loosen the 17 nut then turn the flat clock wise till it becomes tight just slack it a fraction back and lock the 17 mm nut and just check the steering for play and check tierods they are much cheaper than steering boxes
