One of my friends stay in Bournemouth! Expat who moved there a couple of years ago, met a lovely english lass, got married and settled down. From the pics I have seen Bournemouth looks like a great place to live, lots of parks and beautiful countryside next to the sea. Mo would be right at home :-)

I've heard bournemouth called many things, "a nice place" isn't one of them.

let's be honest, the only decent place to live in the uk is inside the city of london (zone 1). the rest is just, well pants :)

Zone 1 is great fun when you are a tourist or over the weekend, but don't know if I could live there...

I've decided it never rains but it pours......tonight whilst rewiring the headlight switch back to an orginal one that I found, I looked under Mo to see that there's a huge oil leak from the gearbox, and I mean huge....all of it over the garage floor not in the box where it should be! :jerkoff:

So I think Mo is trying to tell me that she wants some attention as I think she's jealous of Bobbie. Now I need to find a way of getting her to the shop to find out what's wrong but Jurgen is on Holiday now and I don't want to give him more work as Bobbie needs finishing!

If anyone fancies doing some work for $, :drunks: and  then give me a shout.... :(

So in order for Mo not to get jealous again of Bobbie......we took her to see Bobbie and then we went for a run to the Franschoek Car Museum......lovely place and I have pictures if anyone wants to see what's there this week. But on the way home, I thought I would take some pics of Mo so that we could all see how far she has come from the beginning of this thread when I first got her!

I think these pictures would be perfect for a full article in Volksworld Magazine.....what you think, should I write to them?

Not sure there's more to do on Mo....the wheels look amazing, I like her stance only maybe make the interior a bit better for camping and fit a rock 'n' roll bed. Roof rack has been powder coated and treated so might fit that next week if I get time!

Just perfect. You don't get sunlight like that in Europe! Africa just has a "different" light to it. Call me crazy, but I always notice it on pics, films, when travelling. I Digress. Dutch, Volksworld article - a Dutch visit to the Cape, 2nd time round, you had better transport :-)

Lovely pictures!

Forgive the hijack, but is that the entrance road to the L'Ormarins wine estate where they have a car museum too? (It looks very familiar) Should it be, I went there and just missed the museum as it closed 5 min before I got there. I was in the Cape about two weeks ago. The assistant explained that just the one hall of cars was worth in the region of R250 million!!

Again, sorry for the hijack.

Mo looks awesome!

Gavin you are 100% right...it is.

I would say the cars are much more that R250m. For example, there is the only DB2 convertible ever made, an Enzo, F50 & F40 in a row. One of only 500 Maclaren (the proper road version not the race one), 3 x 250GT - 1 of only 3 hardtops by special tuning company (sorry can't remember the name), and the only 250GT convertible LWB still left in the world. There was also a gullwing.......and that's the modern stuff....It's well worth a visit but they change the cars totally around each month so no VW's this month.
