This is it. I never knew that it will come to this, but here goes.

I am absolutely gatvol of this car. This morning was the absolute last straw. I'm done with it.

After much deliberation, fcuk it. It just isn't worth it anymore. I'd rather buy another running fasty and start from scratch.

I will be doing a reassembly of all the panels and will sell it as is, but excluding the type 4 engine, Rostyles and Porsche parts.

I'll advertise it properly once it's more presentable.

RIP - 68 Fastback - 2008-2010 - The Project that wasn't meant to be.

dont be such a hussy. Take some time off and then get back to it in a few weeks.
Its a project, not a daily driver, keep it as that. If we all gave up after the 20th time the car pissed us off, we would never finish any projects.

you'll regret it. And dont forget, other project cars will also have their list of issues, some of which you have already solved on this one...

I think Fig is still looking for something to burn Sat evening at KKNK.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Like Tony says. Take a breather and use your brother's one in the meantime if you need wheels.

Isn't the brother's (running) Fastback the root of the problem? :wtf:

Don't give in bud, we all have been there and its super frustrating and annoying, you have put a lot into the car already so just keep at it. Now that you have a running fasty you can slowly build up the project.
Keep at it bud.
