I bought a 1302 heap from Pine a while back is a seriously complicated transaction and eventually decided it was too far gone to warrant rebuilding. The search was on for a better body Pine posted a sad looking 1303 on the forum and eventually it ended up at Volkspares sans chassis
Pierre brokered a deal (hy is nogal goed met deals...)and the shell ended up in my back yard.
I decided to start collecting parts and here is a few of what I have found so far.
My oldest was kind enough to drag everything from hiding
the 944 setup includes a rear anti roll bar and fits into the stock 1303 chassis
Plan for the seats is red vinyl with red harnesses
Found a NOS. apron from Ernst
Early passats and late 1303 beetles shared the same rack (LOL) I still need dimensions for the mounting brackets though
Naturally for a type four the badge should have a 4
another deal his Wife did not like the shifter
Dash will be modified 911 style and I like the understated looks of the SP wheel
944 (83 to 85) brakes bolt on to late 1303s
cooler will be in the front underneath the apron
My eldest stripped about a millimeter worth of paint off the car and we found some acident damage but not much rust
I still need quite a bit of kit and will be adding as I find
