On Sunday, on my way to the show at the Mint, decided to push the fastback and see what I could wring out. Did wheel alignment and balancing not too long ago so had to test to see if the bad shake was gone.
It was around 8am, absolutely no traffic, found a nice straight road and managed to catch 90 MPH - 144 KM/h. Car was tracking straight and although very noisy, didn't feel unstable...

Measured again with GPS and it tops 143 KM/H so it is accurate...
Was an interesting experience, considering that it is a stock twin carb 1600, with a vacuum leak on one bank, full tank of fuel, heavy Rostyle sparewheel and jack....Maybe that keeps the nose down
