I had adjustables installed on the front....done by Volkspares when they were still in JHB town. Back spring plates was moved a notch down. Tyres 195 x 50 x 15.........on original beetle rims.....

the 50 profile does not suit a beetle at all. It looks like the bug is driving on 4 flats all the time. One of the youngsters has some on his SP. Looks

HI Guys, Herewith an update......i sprayed the under carrage over the week-end...........will be assembling the suspension next week-end......

HI,
My Panel beater advised me to use 2k paint.
I first cleaned the surface. Sprayed on Duram NS4 Rust Proofing. Then Primer.......last 2K finishing Black....Matt.
I don't know if this is correct......It is the first time that i have done it........Some people have said that it will chip off and you need to use a rubberize.......
i hope it doesn't it was a B!$ch to spray underneath.........
