I had adjustables installed on the front....done by Volkspares when they were still in JHB town. Back spring plates was moved a notch down. Tyres 195 x 50 x 15.........on original beetle rims..... :D

the 50 profile does not suit a beetle at all. It looks like the bug is driving on 4 flats all the time. One of the youngsters has some on his SP. Looks :bn:

HI Guys, Herewith an update......i sprayed the under carrage over the week-end...........will be assembling the suspension next week-end......

That fleetline still looks good and there minimal rust.. Good luck with the build..

What and how did you do it to paint you underside of your bus? Im thinking to do the same. What paint did you use?

HI,
My Panel beater advised me to use 2k paint.
I first cleaned the surface. Sprayed on Duram NS4 Rust Proofing. Then Primer.......last 2K finishing Black....Matt.
I don't know if this is correct......It is the first time that i have done it........Some people have said that it will chip off and you need to use a rubberize....... :cry: i hope it doesn't it was a B!$ch to spray underneath.........
