You can ask for the fleetline/ 67 model. the 68 got a diffrent handle
this is the ones that the fleetline uses left and right.

Done a few things :) Replaced the mirrors, now need a long door hinge mount mirror arm, anybody? Replaced the gear shifter plate and the rear coupler. Me thinks something is bent as the shifter is adjusted according the manual, but it still dislocates, time for another disassembly :(

Replaced the headlights as one had a beetle glass in. Both were actually LHD units, from Mexico or Brazil most likely. Also replaced the lost air vent handle and reinstalled the proper inner door handle, the roll pin was missing.

Hi Sarel, nice work. My wide-bed SC came with standard size mirror arms, but no mirrors. I think it may have had truck mirrors or some other aftermarket mirrors fitted. I am interested in the fact that you want longer mirror arms, are the standard round mirrors/mirror arms not adequate due to the wide bed? What mirrors were on the SC when you purchased it ?
Would "elephant ear" mirrors work for you ?
Cheers

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Paul,

Thanx Paul. It only had one mirror fitted, the round style. The mirror that was on there had the longer arm to clear the wide bed, standard length arms don't work. I got the 2 new round mirrors and the clamps, only looking for one longer arm.

Also still looking for the LH outer door handle....
