Absolutley right ... got a pair of snowflakes from Rui so I'm on track to change those when the work begins ... Thanks ... Cosmo need his belly rubbed. Now he's smiling from ear to ear ...

My vin is 1612### date of liability 1957. 01. 01 not an Oval, I presume it's a 58 then?

funny man.

Furthering the point, your car is essentially a '58 but marked as a '57 because of it's year of production and sale.
In most cases, they are very sought after because of its rareness.
So if a window would need to change to make it an oval, you would first have to kill me, then do the mod and change the windshield and dashboard ;)

Will keep it as is, I'm the second owner....motor runs like a 'Singer' all original except for the indicators...came with all manuals, tools and even a petrol booklet that was started in 1973 and filled in every time the PO filled up..... :mrgreen:

Greenbean ... great car ... hard to find those things .... rare ....

Mince I hoped you progressed with your build since your last reply to me ... would really want to see that Oval completed !
