Hi
Can anyone tell me how long the body to pan seal is in length? Volkspares is out of stock and Pro Auto Rubber sells it per meter.
Enjoy the Ride

Is it just a bitumen type of tape? If so,I can source it for you, probably alot cheaper than Volkspares

No, its a moulded rubber. My guess would be 9 meters.
From fastest to slowest:
Birkin race car, not much is standard
Lotus Elise 111R, almost everything is standard
'75 SP 1600 with a few mods
B8 A4 Avant tdi, towing made easy

Hi I dont use the stock VW type rubber but rather some closed cell foam tape frome your hardware store. I did a rough measurement and think 7m should be enough they come in 5m rolls so 2 should suffice buy 10mm x 40mm or 50mm with the sticky side to the pan.
We removed a pan after 13 years and this foam strip was like new

There a synthetic rubber used in the roofing industry at a fair price, and it was designed for this app.
