What you are looking for is a later system with mechanical advance which is dependent on the rpm of the engine and vacuum advance which is dependent on the vacuum in the inlet manifold. Both of these work together pretty well and is the best way to get good fuel consumption. Being a T4, your engine should already have this type of system.stew 89 wrote:
As far as the Ignition: I wasn't thinking of anything in particular, just the hole concept of electronic ignition.... is it better than my vacuum advance mechanical ignition? I have read arguments for both and I just can't seem to make a call.
