I like 17" BBS wheels, but my car is too low for the 17's. They catch on the front fenders.

I'm looking to maybe use a set of Fuchs 15" wheels.

The fronts run on 205,40,15" and the back on 225,40,15"

On 16" the tires are expensive... then I cant behave like a hooligan. I go through back tires like you wont believe.

It is quite a nifty little dash.

Displays:
Speed via wheel input (mph or km/h)
Engine rpm
Shift lights on the top... aka f1 style
Odo and resetable trip meter
4x Analog inputs, you can measure anything you like. I'm going to measure Oil temp, oil pressure, Boost and Cylinder head temperature.
Warning function for low or high values.. eg low oil pressure. Will display big warning with flashing light.

Price.... R9200.00 without the sender units. It is expensive, But go and work out what a set of autometer gauges works out to.

I can't wait to install it :)

I spoke to the guy last night doing the port and flowing on my CB heads (Ian). At this stage he has started on one intake and on exhaust port.

Current stats on the exhaust port is 110CFM @ 11mm lift. Now I'm dumb with cfm readings and porting. According to him it's very good.

Thanks Ian. (Supertune George 044 8782113) for doing a great job on my cylinder heads. Greatly appretiated! :)

Got my heads back... they look absolutely awesome. I'll try to post some pics tonight.

Also got a set of widened fenders so I can fit my other wheels... Porsche fuch 15" with 225/50/15" tyres on the back. Should look nice then.

The parts from summit racing has still not arrived :( Shipping date has now moved to 5 August 2007. :( Due to no stock on the turbo...

I finally got some pics uploaded...

Here's my cylnder heads with match ported intke manifolds.

Image
Image

I started installing the new dash, but need some ally to do it properly. Heres the dash on a little mounting plate

Image

I got the turbo cam quite a while back, but now I got a little better picture

Image

Next week I can start with the boost boxes that will bolt onto the throttle bodies. At least I got these babies to start off with... just makes it so much easier

Image

I also started getting my methanol injection parts so long. For the methanol injection tank I will use a Golf radator bottle. Holds more than enough juice and does have a low level sensor.

Image

To feed the methanol to the second set of injectors I will use this bosch high pressure fuel pump. Basic specs 140lt/h @ 3 bar pressure. This is more than enough or what I need. The methanol will only start working @ about 0,5 bar and will be electronically controlled. Not just open or closed

Image

I will try to get some pics of my new fenders tomorrow...
