It depends entirely on how you want to mount it your car.
Some elect to fabricate a badge bar, others use a bumper bolt as a base, etc..

They originally came with a long steel bracket with pre-drilled holes to match the holes at the base of the badge. You then bent/cut/drilled the bracket to fit where you wanted to mount it.
