Re: Argento Volpe, My RSK 718
So yesterday I did some work on the spyder. I decided to get stuck into laying out to dash.
It took most of the morning to decide on the layout and the the rest of the day to drill, cut and smooth out the holes.
The layout might not be to spec but is the way that I want it.
Will get pics posted later.
Thanks for reading

Re: Argento Volpe, My RSK 718
Thanks for posting Riekert.
So as can be seen by the pics I have been doing some work on the spyder.
I spend the better half of a morning getting the holes drilled and rounded for a snug fit.
There are a few more holes needed but they a re small ones which I can do with a hole saw or a drill bit.
Then I need to decide which steering wheel I am going to use, I want to use the yellow one as the seats are going to be yellow and black and the speedo face is also yellow and black but it is a bit bigger than the black one.
Decisions, decisions, decisions

Re: Argento Volpe, My RSK 718
Time for a small update on this project.
Over the weekend I went into a pannel beating shop and was taking to the guy and as things would have it the conversation got round to bugs and I told him about my project and that I was looking for a set of indicators , I explained what I wanted and he said that he may have just what I was looking for
We went up stairs and he scratched around in some boxes and came out with four smallish indicators ( I will ask Reikert to post pics of them soon)
Unfortunatly they are not the same as the stop lights but they do look a hell of a lot better that the cheap ones that i had before.
Thanks for reading.

Re: Argento Volpe, My RSK 718
It's been awhile since I've updated this biuld and sad to say that not much has happened (apparently fixing up the house is more important
) but I have managed to get the badges printed for it and next will be the script and the name.
I have also been busy building a carport for it as it stands outside. Awhile ago I sprayed a layer of primer on let it cure for awhile and covered it recently I lifted the cover and to my horror found that the primer has started the bubble
so now I have to flat and re primer it again
